The 4-Hour Workweek – Timothy Ferriss It’s a book that has many positive points, such as fighting for having a sufficient income, administering your work remotely, taking extended and clear vacations, working 4 hours a week, among others. But I don’t agree with forging a disease or producing less at work just to get a remote job, much less take a vacation longer than a year, but I appreciate your sincerity in this work.
Broadly speaking, this book covers ideas on how to automate your work routine, freeing up more time on your schedule.
Clearly not all examples do not apply to my life, but serve as a reference to create something similar, something like an automation algorithm. I gradually began to isolate the things I did in repetitive ways that consumed me time. So I study ways to automates them.
I have a system of conferencing and guessing for the lottery in Brazil, which consumed me at least 30min daily to keep it up to date (this when I upgraded it), also did the check if it really was all right. So I created a robot to do this service daily and that warns me by e-mail when performing it.
I’ve also been working on another search and filter system for information and products, so he can search and bring me a summary of all that interests me.
In summary, I indicate the reading of this book, because even if you do not use its examples, it will serve to expand your mind with new ideas of automating tasks.
